The Project Background - What Problems We Were Trying To Solve
- Tea was exposed to excessive pesticide residues, , which aroused the concern of many tea lovers. According to analysis, excessive pesticide residues in tea mainly occurred in the source planting. In order to prevent pests, most tea farmers use highly toxic pesticides. It is necessary to promote scientific planting and reduce the use of pesticides.
- Tea trees grow in high mountains and hills, prefer a warm, humid, and shaded growing environment, and need proper temperature, light, moisture and soil conditions. The natural environment conditions that affect the growth of tea trees are mainly climate and soil. Ordinary people have no way to see the soil and air temperature and humidity of tea gardens. They can only rely on long-term experience to judg
The Technology Implemented
The construction of smart tea plantation covers modules such as tea garden environmental monitoring, park visualization, regulatory agency management, traceability system, e-commerce platform, enterprise production guidance, mobile management APP (or small program), etc.
- Internet of Things: The detection includes (real-time monitoring of light, temperature and humidity, rainfall, carbon dioxide, speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, etc.), and analyzes the impact on yield and quality to gives different fertilization and irrigation strategies. Visualization of the tea garden, and the monitoring data of the cameras installed in the tea garden are sent back to the platform, and the management department can review and watch at any time, and supervise the production。
- Blockchain: Record the entire steps of each tea batch, record the environmental parameters of the changed batch of tea production, record the agricultural records of the tea plantation, and record each tea processing. Visually display the base environment and processing environment, and users can view the real-time video of the tea plantation and processing environment in real time.
- Artificial intelligence enabled smart production management softwareadopts the latest technology to improve the efficient and orderly management of tea planting, production and processing, further improves the quality and output of tea and reduce the cost. All data collected by sensors are analyzed. Ccorresponding data processing models are established to predict the growth environment and disease conditions of crops, provide real-time data information for agricultural personnel, and make scientific and accurate production strategies. To increase production, improve quality, adjust the growth cycle, and improve economic benefits.
